What is the 1¢ sales tax
On November 5th, a sales tax proposal is on the ballot in Effingham County. The revenue from this sales tax, if passed, can only be used to improve school facilities, retire new or existing building bonds or help support school resource officers and mental health professionals. All Schools in Effingham County would benefit.
